Our cutting-edge IoT sensors and data-driven insights empower users around the world to optimize water management practices in irrigation, conserve resources, and maximize yields. We operate in three verticals: precision agriculture, smart city/landscaping, and water governance. As we continue to expand globally, we are seeking a talented International Growth Manager to join our team and drive the growth of Sensoterra’s presence in key international markets.

About The Position

Our International sales team, supported by the Customer Success team across key markets/verticals is a critical enabler of Sensoterra’s growth. Reporting to the CCO, this new role was created to set and implement the commercial growth strategy and guidelines for Sensoterra’s global potential and conversion cycle, measuring commercial effectiveness, and KPIs settings. You will develop new partnerships and work closely with existing partners across market verticals for new business development, for (key) account management, and evaluate the impact for overall commercial strategy. Key Interfaces: External Key Partners, CCO, Marketing, Customer Success and Inside Sales.

Roll up your sleeves, Sensoterra is a fast-growing team, and the role is varied and dynamic ranging from prospecting and onboarding new customers/partners to partner retention.

Main Accountabilities

As International Growth Manager you, along will be tasked with the development of the international commercial strategy, take the lead in new business development, and implementation of revenue growth strategies for our wireless soil moisture sensors

  • The key accountability of the role is to accelerate our revenue growth by identifying, nurturing, converting, and managing value-added partnerships, to drive sustainable, profitable volume growth both for Sensoterra and our partners.
  • Develop and implement our growth strategy, together with Senior management
  • Lead in conversion optimization, based on field experience and understanding best practices, building a clear roadmap for future improvements.
  • Improvement and optimization of Sensoterra channel strategies
  • Consult on “Go to Market” projects, including product innovation & product renovation, pricing, forecasting & selling stories to build business cases.
  • You actively support Senior management in developing annual business plans and in ad hoc account management projects and initiatives.

The role requires an excellent cross-functional understanding across Sales, Marketing and Finance and also the need to work effectively in a complex IT ecosystem, with knowledge across all functions and 3rd party data providers.

Required Education And Experience

  • HBO or higher education.
  • You have 5-10 years of experience in complex commercial environments; experience in working across markets/at the regional or global level is highly beneficial.
  • You have a track record of delivering results with a demonstrated positive impact on company performance.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • You have experience in setting up and embedding new processes and ways of working in international organizations.
  • Stakeholder management & strategic influencing are part of your skill set.
  • You are able to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing/presentations, with credibility at all organizationallevels.
  • English and Dutch fluency are required. Working proficiency in another language is highly valued.
  • Knowledge of agronomic and plant/soil sciences is not required, but recommended.
